Whilst soft plastics come in various shape profiles this guide won't ring true in a 100% one size fits all approach. However, as a rough guide for many plastics, 2/0 size will generally suit most soft plastic lures around 3-4 inches long, 3/0 will generally suit 4-5 inch plastics, 4/0 suiting 5-7 inch plastics, 6/0 and 8/0 suiting 6-8 inch plastics. Hooks can also be mixed and matched as the head comes with a unique stainless twist locking system. you could also take the hook of completely and use it on a metal slug lure or other lure if you wanted to.
