Daiwa Freams LT Reel

Stunning aesthetics in silver and gold, the new Daiwa Freams LT Reel for sale now is jam-packed full Daiwas best technologies and running off the shelves at a price that’ll knock your waders off. As good as it looks on the outside, the Daiwa Freams fishing reel is even better on the inside.

Check the list of inclusions below. You’ll be wondering how on earth Daiwa manage to get technology such as Tough Digigear, the ATD drag system and the Magsealed body into a fishing reel at such an affordable price.  Moreover, that’s merely to mention the top-billed features; There’s plenty more.

The Daiwa Freams LT Reel has six bearings, one less bearing than its Daiwa stablemates. It’s a reel which allows anglers with a tighter budget to have access to some of Daiwa's flagship technology. Other features include the Zaion V Body, Airspool ABS, Air Rotor, Perfect Line Stopper and the ever so crankable Aluminium Handle.

The LT or ‘light tough’ concept delivers a much lighter yet more robust reel, better suited to handling stronger braids and therefore more significant, more aggressive fish. From cast to catch the Daiwa Freams LT Reel delivers the sort of performance and feel you would expect of a spinning reel at the higher price-points.

You have the inshore covered from finesse angling for Bass to throwing big swimbaits at Murray Cod, Barra or Mulloway. The 6000 is ideal for Drummer from the rocks or casting metal slices at Aussie Salmon from your favourite surf break. Those that fish outside the heads will love dropping plastics for Snapper.

The brilliant range is sure to cover several of your applications at a price that won't hurt the bank balance. Outstanding quality and performance for less. Choose a size and buy your Daiwa Freams LT Reel for sale now before we sell out.

Daiwa Freams Reel Buyer’s Guide

Small Sizes – Come in the form of the 2000 or 2500 Freams models. These two size models make ideal light to ultra-light reels for fishing lakes and rivers primarily. They generally suit fishing line classes of around 2-10lb and work well with 6-7ft graphite rods rated in the vicinity of 1-5kg. With a 2000 or 2000 size you are well placed to target fish such as; flathead, bream, bass, trout, perch, whiting and other light classification fish species.

Medium Sizes- Next up in size is the 3000, 4000 or 5000 sizes.  The 3000 makes an ideal reel for lake and river fishing styles where you need to fish slightly heavier. It’s a size that is ideal for targeting mangrove jack, grunter, big flathead and other fish that will give you a little more curry. Some anglers also just prefer to go slightly bigger to hold a better line capacity.

The Freams 4000 or Freams 5000 size make a great heavy inshore reel, again for lakes and rivers but this time targeting cod, barra, mulloway and other heavy weights. For this they match well to a fishing rod around 6-7ft in length with a rating around 5-10kg.

Same goes for offshore. The 4000 or 5000 size make a great light offshore outfit especially for fishing soft plastics. Again, look for a rod with the same specs.

Lastly you could also use a Freams 4000 or 5000 sized spinning reel for light beach or rock fishing. In this case however longer rods are better and 8 to 11ft sized rods prove to be the ideal choice. Ideal line ratings are around 5-10kg.

Large Sizes – Now we move our focus to the larger size being the Freams 6000 reel. It’s the larger of the reels but in saying that the physical size isn’t huge compared to some other brands, keeping in line with the LT class. The 6000 is an ideal size for rock, beach or offshore boat fishing. On rods 7 through to 13ft in length.

Benefits

  • The LT concept is all about strength and durability while maintaining lightness. Each Freams performs well beyond the capacity its compact size and lightweight would indicate.
  • Magseal mitigates against sand and water ingress ensuring your Freams operates at peak spec for a long working life.
  • The ATD drag has reduced start-up inertia. With ATD, a vicious strike won’t result in bust-ups at hook-up, the usual place we lose prize fish
  • Air Rotor delivers a smooth and consistent, even under heavy loads. Vibrations distribute better for an overall better crank and even line lay.
  • Tough Digigear is 50% stronger than its predecessor, Digigear II. With the added power it equips you better for tackling a broader class of fish without upping your reel size
  • Five bearings support tough Digigear in delivering a silky-smooth crank, consistently and reliably especially in the heat of a fierce battle

The Daiwa Freams LT Reel is a fabulous looking spin reel, with a performance that outclasses its display case aesthetics. With a range from 2000 to 6000, there’s a Freams that will fit your application perfectly. Select your Freams now, spool up with your favourite braid and get casting the weekend after your delivery arrives.
