There will be times when you need to return a product, and we want to make that process as simple and clear as possible for you. This policy is written to give you a full understanding of your options and is, of course, in addition to all your rights under Australian Consumer Law."

Faulty, Damaged, or Incorrect Items
Your satisfaction is our priority. If you receive an item that is faulty, damaged in transit, or is not the item you ordered, please contact us immediately so we can make it right.
Change of Mind Returns
If you've changed your mind, received an item that isn't suitable for your purpose, or it didn't arrive in time, we can still help. Our change of mind policy is available under the following conditions:
- You must contact us within **30 days** of receiving your order.
- The goods must be **unused and in their original, unopened packaging**.
- You will be responsible for the cost of postage back to our warehouse.
Refunds for Change of Mind
If you opt for a refund, please note that the refunded amount will be less the original cost of shipping the item to you. For orders that qualified for free shipping, a standard shipping fee will be deducted from the refund amount. For certain bulky items, a restocking fee may also apply due to higher carrier costs. Please see the table below for details.

International Returns
For international customers, please note that for change of mind returns, the refund amount will be less the full postage cost paid in the original checkout, or our actual postage cost if that was higher than what was paid at checkout. Warranty claims for international orders are handled on a case-by-case basis, as many manufacturer warranties are for Australian consumers only. Please contact us to discuss your options.
Warranty Claims
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law. If a product fails after it has been used, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund. Please contact us to discuss the warranty process for your specific product, as it may need to be inspected by the Australian supplier to determine the nature of the failure.
General Points to Note
- Broken Fishing Rods: If you have broken a fishing rod, particularly a graphite one, we recommend reading our Broken Fishing Rod Article first to understand what is generally classified as a manufacturing fault versus user error.
- Gift Vouchers: Gift vouchers are non-refundable and cannot be redeemed for cash. Please treat them like cash and don't lose them.
- Excluded Items: DVDs and books are excluded from our change of mind returns policy unless they are faulty.
How to Complete Your Return
- Contact us first if you have a warranty issue and we will send a pre-paid return label. Otherwise for change of mind returns follow steps 2 onwards.
- Package Your Item: Please ensure the item is securely packaged for transit.
- Include Proof of Purchase: Include a copy of your receipt or order confirmation so we can easily reference your purchase.
- Include a Cover Letter: Please include a short note describing why you are returning the item and what action you would like us to take (e.g., an exchange or a refund).
- Send It Back: You will need to organise your own carriage back to our store. For small items, you can use Australia Post. For bulky items (over 105cm), you will need to use a courier service. Some national services that may be able to assist are Pack & Send and Interparcel. Post your item to our return address:
