Shimano Ocea Jigger Rod
There’s no technique quite like jigging for targeting blue water fish hanging deeper in the water column. The Shimano Ocea Jigger rods with HIGH POWER / SPIRAL X GRAPHITE blanks provide the jig enthusiast with options. Whichever option you choose, the through line is strength. Oceans of strength.
There are several models in the range equally divided between spin and overhead. The spin models are designed for aggressive, high speed jigging techniques. The overhead models feature a slow taper which allows for accurate jig response via slow jigging techniques.
Shimano understand the need for both model types to adequately cover most blue water jigging applications. We think you will benefit from being equipped with a spin and an overhead model in the boat. While the Shimano Ocea Jigger rods are priced relative to their high pedigree, the investment in two jiggers will create a serious jigging arsenal very hard to beat.
Cosmetically, they look every bit as fantastic as they perform. The EVA grips allow plenty of support when it’s time to white knuckle your rod. Fuji Silicon and CI4+ seats complete a symphony of top shelf inclusions that ensure every angler gets the ultimate in jigging excitement.
From Yellowfin Tuna, to Kingfish, Mackerel to Wahoo and GT’s. If they’re hanging deep, if jigging is the only way, your best weapon bar none is the Shimano Ocea Jigger Rod. Choose your fishing rod now, the blue water and all its predatorial inhabitants await.
