Abu Garcia Salty Stage Skid Jigs Slow Jigging Lures (prices vary – select a size from our order menu for an updated price on that particular model)
NOTE: 1 LURE ONLY - HOOKS NOT INCLUDED
The NEW Salty Stage Skid Jig was inspired by a squid's darting and attacking action. You’ll notice the squid like eye on the side of the Skid. The shaping and contour are all about creating a ‘switch back’ effect in order to present as a squid that is hunting bait fish. The skidding motion creates a tremendous amount of sparkle and flash, likely to attract predators from quite some distance. Skidding from side to side also mimics the action of a squid that is panicked under the threat of a predator.
The skid jig is designed to work equally as well horizontally as it is vertically, so boat anglers will also find plenty of value in the Skid Jig. You can expect to do very well casting and slow jigging at species like big snapper, Tuna and Kingfish. It’s this sort of flexibility in lures that indicates a high degree of innovative, creative thinking from the design boffins. A collection of skid Jigs in your tackle box will probably see a whole range of trusted regulars relegated to the lower shelf of the box, or for that matter, home in the shed to gather rust and dust.
They’re priced accessibly so you can purchase a collection to ensure all conditions are covered. Hook arrangements are going to be based on your preference as hooks are not included but ABU Garcia, to their credit, have gone with a top shelf suggestion of suggesting use with Owner Cultiva SSF-41 Short Jig Assist / JD-22 Jigger Light TAFF Wire. This is a serving suggestion only, you can get as creative as you like. The Abu Garcia Salty Stage Skid Jigs Slow Jigging Lures are for sale now and will look fabulous in the mouth of your next monster kingy.

Note: (Hooks not included) – you will need to rig these up on your favourite hooks or assist rigs yourself.
The new Salty Stage Skid Jigs will create some competition for top tray priority in your jig box. And the reason is simple, they’re catching more fish. The switch back action is creating a frenzy throughout the water column and the result is a pretty full live tank. It’s new, so you have to try at least a few colours.
