The Daiwa Tatula CT baitcaster reel is a model of precision and class. Now lighter and more compact than the previous Tatula fishing reel, the new Tatula CT is more like an extension of the angler’s hand than a fishing reel.
Available in left and right hand, and two cranking speeds, the Tatula has much of the inshore grounds covered. It will suit the boat angler, kayak enthusiast and those anglers going stealth, working the banks or flats shooting close range. The fresh anglers will love the Tatula, but it will stand up to the salt with ease, owing to inclusions such as the corrosion resistant clutch mechanism.
Spool up light and throw soft plastics and small hard bodies at the likes of Bream, Flathead, Whiting, Jacks and soapy Mulloway in the Salt. The freshies will find it the perfect weapon for Perch, Bass, Trout and Yellow belly.
The Tatula has tournament credentials. The feel, precision and overall performance is unrivalled in its class. Casting is a dream with its brilliant T-Wing Type II System working hand in hand with Magforce-Z, for high paced casting under competition conditions, back lash free; even when fishing into the breeze on light gear.
A whopping 6 kg of ATD allows you to peg your lures at a class of fish much bigger than the small reel size might suggest. Digigear strength will ensure any battle against a larger predator delivers a smooth battle’ promoting confidence while under the pressure from angry fish holding the structure.
The list of inclusions reads like a who’s who of Daiwa flagship technology. What’s more, you won’t have to pay the earth. You’ll get some change for a splurge on some new soft plastics. Get your Daiwa Tatula CT Reel for sale now.

Daiwa Tatula CT Baitaster Reel buyer guide
Ideal for freshwater or saltwater to target species such as bream, flathead, whiting, yellowbelly and other perch, Mangrove jack, sooty grunter, saratoga, Australian bass and trout. All you need to decide is which ratio retrieve model you wish to purchase. The difference is how fast or how much line retrieve per crank the reel will bring in. 5.5:1 ratio model brings in 58cm per crank, this is ideal for those that want to work lures slower, the 6:31 is our best seller as it provides a happy medium, then we have the 7.3:1 ratio for higher speed retrieves for the likes of working lures over structure such as water lilies or for the fish that perhaps needs a lure to be worked with a little more commotion to entice it out of its snag.
The CT Type R difference. You may note we have regular CT and CR Type R models for sale. One of the main differences between standard and R series is that Type R is made using super duralumin (A7075) this material allows Daiwa to machine a thinner wall spool without any strength reduction compared to regular CT. Type R also features 2 of its main bearings as corrosion resistant ball bearings for additional durability.
As this reel is a baitcaster fishing reel it means that it will only suit a baitcaster rod. We have plenty for sale on our website, just use our search tool for baitcaster rods. If you need further assistance in picking a rod then simply get in touch with us.
T-Wing and the lightweight spool work hand in glove, providing huge improvements in casting performance. T-Wing’s wider aperture coupled with the compact design reduces line angles, line friction, and backlashes.
Dawia’s famous real four technology gives; Real Engine, Real Control, Real Endurance, and Real Custom.
6kg of UTD (Ultimate Tournament Drag) allows you to tackle a much larger class of fish than the diminutive reel size would suggest. ATD is Daiwas flagship drag technology.
Magforce-Z Takes is Daiwas anti-backlash master technology. The combination of old-school mechanical braking combines with the precision of modern magnetic technology for a better chance of a birds nest free day on the water.
The combination of DigiGear and Air-Rotation delivers an unrivalled, silky smooth crank and the toughest of loads.
The long reach Star Drag is all about the ergonomics of fingertip control. You can adjust and fine tune your settings easily in the heat of the battle.
The Daiwa Tatula CT Reel is sheer fishing pleasure. Fish with confidence, casting effortlessly at the banks, holes and structures, knowing that whatever fish you come across is likely to have met her match. Precision and power are rolled into a lightweight compact casting masterpiece, for an exceptional fishing experience.
